Prof. Tadeusz Swietochowski is widely recognized as a leading specialist on the modern history of Azerbaijan. Having served as a professor in the history department at Monmouth University, he holds an honorary doctorate from Baku State University and is a honorary member of the Central Eurasian Studies Society. Professor Swietochowski has lectured at Warsaw University as Fulbright Senior Specialist.
